I had a great morning playing at @riverbendatx with some great folks!
Flashlight Fiction 2003 Cafe Mundi- Flashlight Fiction is still probabaly one of my favorite bands I've ever been in. From the music to the creative partnership with Reed and Cari, we had no idea what we were doing and we did something beautiful and unique. Stream our first album in the link above.

Where have I been? The last show I played before the pandemic was with @soundslikescenery a week before the world shut down. I begrudgingly finished recording and released the last @thegentlewolves album in 2020, and then hibernated creatively as life spiraled and the world burned. / Then, two and a half years after leaving my post as the worship leader at @servantchurchaustin, in the fall of 2021 my family stumbled into @riverbendatx and found a community in transition with an us shaped hole. Since then we have found our calling and community. / I am now one of "the 9" worship leaders at the church. It's an honor to be part of this diverse, interesting, and beautiful lineup of musicians, songwriters, and leaders. / Check the link in the bio for a song I wrote for a sermon series on the prodigal son. "What about me?" Is a song from the perspective, not of the prodigal, nor the father, but of the older brother who never left as is understandingly asking "WTF dad?"
